I really want to design a robot with a bunch of complicated mechanical-spider-legs.  It will sort of look like this. This has been harder than I thought.  I’ve got a bunch of those books that show how other artists go about building robots from crappy sketches, so I have high expectations.

I like this guy.  He’s not much more than a conglomeration of parts from some of my other robots, but I feel like he came together nicely.  I’d love to see that gun fired…

I did this one in the “marker pad” I bought, which has paper suited to heavy applications of coloring markers.  The idea is to start putting out more than line-drawings of robots.  However, I suck at coloring.  So, the colored version of this looks like a mess.  Maybe I should start with digital coloring…

Different pens, different look.

I like to try different tools to get different feels for my drawings.  This one was done with a Rotring drawing pen, which is like a inking quill tip pen that automatically feeds ink through a cartridge.  I’m not too crazy about the result, but I’m liking the proportions I’m getting here:
