I drew this guy while looking at a waterfall. The drawing in my sketchbook has the waterfall behind this bot.  However, it (the waterfall) sucked, so I cropped it our here.

I’m starting to fall out-of-love with my rapidograph pens. They’re messing, time-consuming, and don’t deliver the line-quality I was led to believe they would.  So, I’m starting to go back to my brush pens and disposable inking pens.  Here’s a sketch with a good ol’ .5

I know this isn’t a drawing, but Sarah, that’s my lovely girlfriend, and I were talking about deserts today, and it made me think to bring up this photo.  This is from when I lived and worked in China.  About 7 years ago.  What were we thinking?  Even in the desert, we drank too much…

Creepy soldier guy

Remember that movie Wizards?  One of the main characters, Peace, was this creepy, floppy-looking soldier guy with a deadpan voice.  All the bad-guy troops had these featureless gas masks on over a standardized military uniform.  It was cool.
